baseball

Well, I'm heading to a baseball game soon, the Redbirds! It's the local AAA team, and it's the first game I'll be at this season. Unfortunately, I've still got a cold, and the cough medicine I'm taking is just making my head so damn fuzzy....could stop taking it, but then I'll cough twice as much, hmmm..I should skip the game, but I've already paid for the tickets (they were cheap, only $5) and there's free food....BBQ, yummmmmmmy

I'll let you know if we win!

Why's that thing called 'The World Series' n there's no other bit of the world in it? Always puzzled me...

You know, a lot of people ask that...I guess Canada and Japan (the only places I can think of with professional baseball) should take that up with the league

Was a good game, ate a lot of BBQ! and of course, had a hot dog and plenty of beer:) Oh, and we won!!!3 to 2

Actually baseball is played all over the world, just not in Europe. The final of the World Cup of Baseball was between Japan & Cuba! Although why the World Series is called that when on US teams play is jut arrogance I think.

Anyway. We (The Memphis Redbieds) won :)

I like Rugby league. Its a game of big fellas hitting each other. I think it is like your 'football' except it is over in 80mins and is fun to watch. Baseball? Yeah why not, I would give it a try, so long as I can hit somebody with the bat.

I just went to a Boston Red Sox game with my buddy last Tuesday. We had incredible seats. Two rows back from the 3rd base dugout. My company had some season tickets that they gave a friend of mine that couldn't use them, so he gave them to me. Second hand tickets better than paying for them yourselves considering all the games for the past 5 years or something have been sold out in advance. Talk about hard tickets to find, especially season tickets. The Sox lost unfortunately, but they took the series 2 out of 3. I've never been to a RedBirds game, but maybe we'll shoot that way in a week. Could be fun. Probably be pretty busy with the family and all, but for you......we'll see. :)
