Did you know where Ohio is?

Nope, me either.

I'm also slightly fuzzy as to locating Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, and Michegan...see a pattern?

The mid-west-great-lake states. Lots of people come from them, but I've yet to know of anyone to move to one.

Ok, maybe my geography is pretty weak, but....

I'll bet there are a few of you who are a tad hazzy on Montana, Idaho, Wyoming...I've at least got those down!

I failed geography. Alot. I can't read a map, or use a compass. Never ask me for directions. You'd probably end up in Michigan.....

Having driven through 38 of the states, have a damn fair idea. Have an Aunt who moved to Wisconsin, my dad did a post doc in Michegan, and a sister who actually move TO Texas. Thank god she later moved away, it was embaressing...

I don't even know where places are in the UK, much less the States. Actually I probably have a better idea about some places in the US than some in the UK.

wow..y'all...

You should try the "Can you pass 3rd grade" test.

It gives you 4 minutes to point and click all the US states in place...

do it a few times until you have and you would be amazed how fast you learn where is what....

I didn't read your profile - but I do know that my kids [teenagers and a 9 y.o.] definitely knew about China before they ever knew the capital of our state.

Damn S.O.L.s will getcha' everytime.

Try the test [you can google it] - fill in all the ones you know and keep working until you get it right - it is a nice thing to know where all the states are, isn't it?

Indoors - maps I'm OK, with, I guess I just never paid much attention to the middle ones before!!

Boy - Wow, 38! I think I've hit about that many too, but again, I've somehow consistantly missed the great lake states, so I'm constantly confused as to which one is where...

* - Oh, I'd be hopeless with the UK!

Skippy - Cool, I always need things to do instead of working (which is why I blog!!) I knew all the states in school, but I've been studying only science for 9 years now, so my geography has gotten hazy!!

Michigan...the horror?!? No, no, no...It is a good state, well, the CITY I live in is good...The real horror is Wyoming, the state I am trying NOT to move to.

I can proudly say that if you gave me a map of the US that only had the state borderlines on it with no names, I could definately identify all the states correctly. Two years ago, I may have had some trouble with it. Alas, things have changed due to a kid who insisted on learning all the states at age 3.
